Oak Leaves in Bar Harbor

Image of Oak Leaves in Bar Harbor

This is a first generation print, the first print pulled from the Gelli plate when it was fully saturated with yellow, then red, and blue. I used open acrylics, which stay wet much longer than ordinary acrylics, to get the delicious color mixing. Applying the acrylic with a foam brayer allowed me to pick up all the textures of the leaves.

$325 for the original Gelli monoprint; acrylic on 9” x 12” Stonehenge paper

$200 for a 17” x 24” one-of-a-kind giclée print on archival, acid-free, water color paper, matted on acid free foam core board, and in a clear bag

$36 for shipping
